A proud native of Canada, Murray played for the Youth National Team, as well as SIU-Edwardsville and the University of Tulsa. Professionally he played for the Tulsa Ambush of the National Professional Soccer League and semi-professionally for the Tulsa Roughnecks of the US-ISL. Murray was one of Lonestar SC’s longest serving coaches who coached hundreds, if not thousands, of young soccer players at all levels of the game, right here in Austin. He will be missed, and remembered fondly, by everyone at Lonestar SC and in the Austin Soccer Community. The Lonestar SC family extends our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Murray's family and many close friends.
